The Planning Division (PD) is responsible for the planning activities of the NMDOT and ensuring that NMDOT complies with federal planning requirements.

The PD Director oversees the NMDOT Long-Range Statewide Transportation Plan (NM 2045 Plan) and the NMDOT Two-Year Planning Work Program.
