NMDOT hosted an in-person public meeting for the Interstate 40 (I-40) Miyamura Interchange Study. The purpose of the meeting was to introduce the study, share data collected, and learn about the community’s concerns and ideas. The NMDOT is conducting a study, in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration, on I-40 between mileposts 21.7 (near 2nd Street) and 23.7 (near Boardman Drive) at the interchange with New Mexico Highway 609 (Miyamura Drive) including the ramps, Joseph M. Montoya Boulevard (NM 609), Superman Canyon Road, and New Mexico Highway 118 (Old Route 66) within the City of Gallup, New Mexico.
