The New Mexico Department of Transportation, in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration, is hosting two Public Meetings to discuss the I-25 Safety & Capacity Study, on I-25 in the City of Las Cruces from the Lohman Interchange (Milepost [MP] 2.8) to the Doña Ana Interchange (MP 10.5) and on NM 320 (Thorpe Road) from the Doña Ana Interchange to Barela Drive. The purpose of this study is to address safety and capacity needs, including deficiencies with pavement, geometry, access control, drainage management, and Americans with Disability Act facilities. The goal of this Public Meeting is to focus on segment of NM 320 (Thorpe Road) between I-25 and Barela Drive, to present the existing conditions, study alternatives, and initial recommendations, and receive input from the community and users of the road. A presentation will be given followed by a question-and-answer session. For more information on the rest of the I-25 Study Area between the Lohman and Dona Ana Interchanges, please visit the project website.
