The NMDOT hosted a virtual public meeting to present the final design for roadway and drainage improvements for the University Ave (NM101) Multimodal Project. This project will enhance the existing two-lane roadway from Avenida de Mesilla to S. Main Street. The corridor is highly used by pedestrians and bicycles with access to Zia Middle School, local neighborhoods, and as a gateway to connect the Town of Mesilla, City of Las Cruces, and New Mexico State University.
The purpose of the virtual public meeting was to present final design of improvements and solicit input from the community.
