WHERE: Nenahnezad Chapter House, 6675 N N Rte-365, Fruitland, NM 87416
We are inviting community members to attend a public meeting about the US 64 Hogback Rockfall Mitigation Project in San Juan County. A short presentation will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by an open discussion for attendees to ask questions and offer feedback.
The project area is located on US 64, about 8 miles east of Shiprock and 2.5 miles west of Waterflow. The goal of the project is to improve safety by reducing the risk of falling rocks along the roadway using methods such as removing loose rocks and stabilizing slopes. At the meeting, the project team will present more details about the planned safety improvements, project timeline, and what to expect during construction, including possible traffic impacts.
If you need language assistance, translated materials, or accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) or Title VI, please contact Liliana.Domenici@wilsonco.com.
