Santa Fe, NM – The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) is proud to announce the launch of a new interactive dashboard to track legislative appropriation projects across New Mexico. The dashboard currently displays projects funded from three 2024 appropriations: House Bill 2 Section 11, item 3, House Bill 2 Section 11, item 5, and Severance Tax Bonds (SB 275).

“This dashboard allows users to track the allocation of the 2024 Legislative resources by project, funding source, and district,” said NMDOT Cabinet Secretary Ricky Serna. “Transportation infrastructure, improving road safety, and addressing critical transportation challenges are crucial for our state, and this dashboard allows residents to readily access updates on our progress toward those goals.”

Governor Lujan Grisham signed House Bill 2 in March 2024, including $190 million in appropriations to NMDOT for roadway maintenance. The Governor’s enactment of Senate Bill 275 also authorizes the issuance and sale of $320 million in severance tax bonds in fiscal year 2025 for nine major construction projects:

NMDOT strives to keep constituents informed and engaged as the agency works to improve New Mexicans’ quality of life through reliable transportation solutions. Whether it’s road construction, bridge maintenance, or public transit development, this new dashboard offers a window into the vital work being done to ensure safe and efficient travel across New Mexico.
