NMDOT Introduces Que Linda

Department of Transportation Announces Grant Recipients for Que Linda

Que Linda was created to support the development and implementation of local governments to build beautification programs that encompass the eleven strategies of beautification. Fourteen Local governments received grants ranging from $95k to $200K per award in the inaugural year to support the development and implementation of a local beautification program, including a full-time program coordinator. Que Linda is a compliment to other state agency grants (RAID at Environment and Clean and Beautiful at Tourism) to provide funding that does not duplicate the same activities but can build a bigger and more sustainable program!
