Public Meeting – US 60 Mountainair Study, CN 5101350

The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) invites you to join us for an in-person public meeting for the U.S. Highway 60 through Mountainair Alignment Study.  The purpose of the study is to address roadway surface conditions, drainage within the right-of-way, skewed cross streets, lighting, parking and access management, and bicycle and pedestrian access, including Americans with Disability Act requirements. An in-person meeting was held in November 2019 to introduce the study and to get input from the community. In mid-2020, due to COVID, an online Open House event was offered to share alternatives developed and to get feedback. The purpose of the Public Meeting is to present information on the Alignment Study process, alternatives evaluated in detail, and the recommended alternatives, and to receive your input.
