Virtual Public Meeting – NM 313 Algodones Bridge Project

The NMDOT hosted a live virtual public meeting on June 30th, 2022 for the NM 313 Bridge Replacement Project in Algodones. At the meeting, the project team presented information about the bridge design, project schedule, impacts to traffic, and results of an environmental evaluation. Meeting attendees had the opportunity to share comments and questions about the project.

The project would entail replacement of the bridge that carries NM 313 across Las Huertas Creek, 4.7 miles north of US Highway 550, near the Village of Algodones in Sandoval County. Construction activities would take place within the NMDOT right-of-way between NM 313 mileposts 12.5 and 13.5.  Construction may require a FULL-BRIDGE CLOSURE to reduce construction time, improve safety, and reduce cost.
