Transportation professionals across New Mexico can learn to navigate public engagement requirements under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) through free virtual training sessions offered by the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) this summer.

The training series addresses a need for more effective and inclusive community engagement in transportation projects statewide, with a focus on NEPA compliance and best practices. Sessions target agencies, consultants, and professionals involved in transportation planning, projects, and programs.
