LAS VEGAS – The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) District Four Transportation Project Fund (TPF), recently awarded fourteen local municipalities with a 95% match in funding. The funding is for local projects, investing a total amount of $8,326,490 in District Four Transportation Funded Roadway Projects.
Local and tribal governments in New Mexico are eligible to apply for state-funded grants. Eligible projects are in the following categories: (1) environmental and other studies; (2) planning; (3) design; (4) construction; and (5) acquisition of rights of way necessary for the development of transportation infrastructure, which includes highways, streets, roadways, bridges, crossing structures and parking facilities, including all areas for vehicular, transit, bicycle or pedestrian use for travel, ingress, egress, and parking.

- Village of Angel Fire, Country Club Drive Resurfacing – $1,005,100.00
- Guadalupe County, Bar Y Road 1A (Priority Phase III) – $828,389.00
- City of Raton, Second Street Improvement Project – $855,000.00
- Village of Logan, Micro sealing various streets – $245,826.00
- Town of Clayton, Locust Street – $816,855.00
- Village of San Jon, 2025 Street Improvements – $475,000.00
- San Miguel County, Williams Dr. & Dora Celeste Dr. – $678,403.00
- Quay County, QR – AR (Phase 1) – $328,263.00
- Village of Mosquero, Lakefront Blvd and 2nd Street Improvements – $570,000.00
Located in the northeastern quadrant of New Mexico, District Four works with seven counties, including Colfax, Guadalupe, Harding, Mora, Quay, San Miguel, and Union which consists of over 24 municipalities.
