Road now currently open through Mile Marker 12
SANTA FE – The New Mexico Department of Transportation and the contractor, Cutler Repaving Inc. are working to complete a 7-mile pavement rehabilitation project on N.M. 475 (Hyde Park Rd.). The contractor has completed the repaving the northbound lane miles of the project. The road is currently open through the IV Overlook. The full closure begins at mile marker 12. Crews will continue working their way up to Santa Fe Ski from mile marker 12 to mile marker 16 in the southbound lane.
As portions of the project are completed, they will be reopened to traffic. This could mean that closures will intermittently change. All closures are lifted on Sundays.
Crews will continue working six days a week, Monday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. To expedite the project, the road is closed to all vehicular traffic, including bicycles, Monday through Saturday. The road will be reopened to all traffic on Sundays only.
Updates on this project will be posted on the New Mexico Department of Transportation’s road advisory website, http://nmroads.com/.
