Infrastructure investments pave the way for community and economic development
ROSWELL – The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) District Two office recently awarded nine local governments with a 95% match in funding. The funding is for local entity projects, investing $10,576,766 in District Two Transportation Funded Roadway projects.
“The district is honored to have played a small role in this endeavor, administering the funds through the Transportation Project Fund and collaborating with the Southeastern Regional Transportation Planning Organization (SERTPO). District Two values our partnerships with local communities to collaborate on future infrastructure improvement projects,” said Francisco Sanchez, NMDOT District Two Engineer.

NMDOT District Two works with one tribe, nine counties, and 32 municipalities, including 42 School Districts or Universities, the Eastern Plains Council of Governments, and the Southeastern Regional Transportation Planning Organization (SERTPO).
