SANTA FE – The New Mexico Department of Transportation along with Cutler Repaving Inc. will begin Phase Two of a 7-mile pavement rehabilitation project that will include new pavement and striping on Monday, September 9, 2024, on N.M. 475 (Hyde Park Rd.).

Phase Two will begin on Monday, September 9, 2024. Crews will be working six days a week, Monday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. In an effort to expedite the project, the contractor will be forced to close the road to all vehicular traffic, including bicycles, Monday through Saturday. The road will be reopened to all traffic on Sundays only.

Work will take place from mile marker 9 to 16 and is expected to last approximately 30 working days, weather permitting.

The contractor will be starting at mile marker 9 and working their way up to Santa Fe Ski at mile marker 16. As they complete each portion of the roadway it will be completely reopened to traffic. The exact timing of each section being reopened cannot be determined in advance, so please check the link below each day for updates.

Updates on this project will be posted on the New Mexico Department of Transportation’s road advisory website, http://nmroads.com/.
