ALBUQUERQUE – The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) announced road work on I-40 westbound near Atrisco Vista Interchange. Work will begin on April 16 at 6 p.m. on I-40 from MP 150 (Atrisco Interchange) to MP 147.3 and I-40 will be down to 2 lanes.
Crews then will be working the centerline and will have I-40 down to one lane until Wednesday morning at 6 a.m. Wednesday April 16th 6am all lanes will be open for the daytime hours but will be closed to one lane Wednesday Evening April 16th until Friday, April 19th 6am.

WEST BOUND
- Monday, April 15th 7 p.m. to Wednesday, April 16th 6 a.m.
- I-40 West Bound will be to 1 Lane.
Wednesday, April 16th 6am to 6pm - I-40 West Bound All Lanes Open
Wednesday, April 16th 6 p.m. to Friday, April 19th 6 a.m. - I-40 West bound will be to 1 lane. Left Lane Closed.
Friday, April 19th 6 a.m. to Sunday, April 28 6 p.m. - I-40 West bound All Lanes Open.
EAST BOUND
- Sunday, April 21st 7 p.m. to Wednesday, April 24th 6 a.m.
- I-40 East Bound to 1 Lane.
Wednesday, April 24th 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. - I-40 East Bound All Lanes Open.
