Virtual Public Meeting for US 550 Rio Puerco Bridge Replacement, CN 6100846

The NMDOT, in cooperation with FHWA, hosted a live virtual public meeting for a project involving the replacement of the US 550 bridge spanning the Rio Puerco on the north side of Cuba, New Mexico.  At the meeting, the project team presented information about design, project schedule, and impacts to traffic.  They also discussed anticipated construction plans.  

During construction, two-way traffic would be maintained on US 550 except during girder placement.  During the placement of girders, the road would require a full-overnight closure for approximately four nights.
