SUMMARY:Public Meeting - I-25 Safety & Capacity Study\, Lohman to Doña Ana Interchange\, CN LC00380
DESCRIPTION:The New Mexico Department of Transportation\, in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration\, is hosting an In-Person Public Meeting for the I-25 Safety & Capacity Study\, on I-25 from the Lohman Interchange to the Doña Ana Interchange and NM 320 (Thorpe Road) from Barela Drive to I-25. The purpose of the study is to improve safety\, accommodate regional growth\, and address deficiencies (e.g.\, pavement\, drainage\, Americans with Disabilities Act facilities\, roadway geometry\, access control\, and multi-modal connectivity). The goal for the upcoming meeting is to go over the alternatives considered\, the study team recommendations\, and to receive your input. A presentation will be given followed by a question-and-answer session. For more information\, please visit the project website. \nNEXT STEPSAfter reviewing public and stakeholder input\, the study team will finalize the recommendations and submit the report for FHWA concurrence in Summer 2024. NMDOT will then develop plans for improvements in phases starting with the section on I-25 between the Loham Interchange and the US 70 Interchange (Phase 1).
