DESCRIPTION:THANK YOU FOR JOINING US!\n						\n					\n				\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n					\n					\n						\n						A public meeting was held April 2\, 2026 in Cliff\, New Mexico to discuss an area study to improve the long-term safety and resilience of U.S. Highway 180 where it crosses the Gila River near Cliff\, New Mexico.  \nFlooding\, shifting river channels\, sediment buildup\, and wildfire impacts have caused repeated damage and temporary road closures along this important transportation corridor.
