DESCRIPTION:Purpose of Project\nThe project includes widening of 1.419 miles of University Avenue/New Mexico State Road 101 from Avenida de Mesilla to South Main Street. It also includes new curb and gutter\, sidewalks\, a multi-use path\, ADA ramps\, drainage structures\, storm drain\, new signage and roadway striping\, new lighting and railroad crossings.\nConstruction is scheduled to begin on Tuesday\, November 26\, 2024 and last through fall 2026. \nPurpose of Meeting\nAt this meeting\, the construction team will review anticipated construction phases\, expected traffic impacts and detours\, and the timeline for project construction.
